Poor teddy is right! Rowan discovered how to bite and hold things in her mouth over the weekend - and she's been cracking us up ever since. This morning I handed her a little white teddy bear to play with while I was getting ready for work, and when I came back into the room she had the poor bear dangling from her mouth. I had to laugh because when I gave it a tug she just grinned through her teeth and wouldn't let go. She kept the bear hostage throughout our whole morning routine...even while I got her dressed!
The frog was her 1st victim...poor teddy was the 2nd.

Daddy loves camo
Well, it's official -- Derek is in love with camouflage. This past year he was lucky enough to acquire a camo stocking hat, a camo baseball cap, a camo sweatshirt, camo pajamas pants, a camo blanket, many pairs of camo shorts, 5 camo Christmas stockings (yes, they actually hung from our mantle) and last, but not least, a camo dress for baby Rowan.
And to top it all off, he was crazy enough to wear them all at once AND pose for a picture.
Oh, how I love this man...He's so BRAVE.

Rowan's 1st Valentine's Day
This passed Saturday Rowan turned 5 months old -- which is CRAZY! We celebrated by playing with Mimi and opening her 1st Valentine's Day present. She got a cute pink teddy bear; which is safe to chew and tug on (compliments of her Mimi, of course). She also got a red card which seemed to interest her more than the actual toy - go figure!

Rowan rolls!
Today was a momentous day at our house marking baby Rowan's first time rolling over...big news for us first timers. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to witness the big event - but Grandma Gora filled us in on the details and was even able to take one action shot.
I guess her most exciting roll happened during her nap when Grandma found her not on her belly but on her back and with her head at the opposite end of the crib...I wish I could have seen how she managed that!
I guess we better start baby proofing - she'll be moving around in no time :)
